We frequently take our bodies for granted, until we hit the skids. Been there, done that. When I was in my 30's I ate deep fried food every day, until I saw the negative results from it. Eating deep fried food daily cushioned numbed me out from feeling some thoughts and feelings I did not want; thoughts and feelings which therapy did not resolve for me. . Your body is part of the whole you in mind-body-spirit. You can be your own best friend and treat your body and your life really well. There is a Buddhist tool they use which I love. When a part of one's body is not working well, one gives some attention to it and verballly says to that part of yourself: "I LOVE YOU [insert part here]" Sounds trivial? Maybe. It did to me, at first, but I tried it, and knew instinctually it felt right. See if it works for you as well. Creating a Successful Life begins by how you live your life - in mind-body-spirit.
