My Story
For more than 20 years I was well-suited for and enjoyed working in the fast-paced legal industry as more than a legal executive assistant. Working as liaison between senior partners, clients, and staff, I oversaw and conducted projects and legal teams on a large scale for sophisticated and often complicated multimillion dollar patent lawsuits. The attention to detail, accuracy, assisting the executives in how they could meet their goals and objectives was paramount, as was working with many personality types. In such an environment it was important to understand people, learn quickly, adapt to change, and help others accomplish their goals. Through the years I always had a curiosity and pursued learning within the self-growth arena. And then a change came upon me, through an illness. In hindsight, it was a gift of sorts. I began to look at myself and the world differently because of it. Here is the story of why I went into coaching.

In such an environment it was important to understand people, learn quickly, adapt to change, and help others accomplish their goals. Through the years I always had a curiosity and pursued learning within the self-growth arena. And then a change came upon me, through an illness. In hindsight, it was a gift of sorts. I began to look at myself and the world differently because of it. Here is the story of why I went into coaching.
I overcame a serious illness and was certain I would, even when several doctors told me it could not be done. After a short time, I was not only healthy, strong, energetic, and clear-minded, but my energy was more vigorous, my brain power and concentration at a higher level than ever before, and my capacity and capability for most things had grown -- as had my motivation, joy, and the love of every day. There was no sign in the xrays that I ever had an illness; the doctors were shocked -- I wasn't.
How was I so certain this would be my outcome? A miracle? One of my clients says: "A miracle is an intention manifested." It was possible to accomplish what I wanted because I sought it in myself, set goals and lived up to them. It is enormous how much our outcomes are determined by our thoughts - which affect our emotions - which affect our actions - which affect our outcomes. The coaching process provides new tools, new ideas, new actions, and new achievements. By altering just a few things one can move past challenges to possibilities beyond anything you can imagine. My clients in coaching have always been amazed at the shifts they experienced in their business and their life; it was exactly what they had hoped for and then some.
After overcoming a serious illness and learning anew to love my life, it was time to share the gift I was given, a new vision on life. But first. I studied at and became certified through the very fine international coaching school, The Institute For Professional Excellence In Coaching (iPEC), certified by the International Coaching Federation. In earning my second certification, I learned Leadership and Communication Skills and to provide Assessments in Energy Leadership with workbooks, all of which further assisted my clients to turn the road to achievement in quicker and smoother fashion.
