Empaths are highly tuned individuals who can perceive physical sensitivities and spiritual urges, as well as just knowing the motivations and intentions of others. They can take on the emotions of others, without realizing it. Many empaths can become overwhelmed due to difficulty distinguishing what they are absorbing from others in emotions-mind-body-spirit -- and what is actually from self.
By learning how to hear-feel-know yourself more, and detach from negative energy around you, while building on your special skill set (sometimes extrasensory) of: feeling - hearing - knowing - seeing -- you can become more centered, supported, empowered, and free to move forward in what you want and love to do.
For many years I tried to push this part of myself down, tried to keep it hidden, in fear of judgment and backlash. I thought others would find it woo woo, or not respect it. In my coaching practice, it was when I decided to come out of the closet, so to speak, as an Empath, left self-doubt behind, learned the value of my skill set, embraced it, and revealed who I am -- that I realized it was part of my own personal greatness and that what I had to offer is something people want. This what many Empaths go through.
After I stopped being in judgment of myself as an Empath – I was soon hired for Coaching and ELI Assessments by people high up in their corporate industries. Their reason for selecting me when they had tried Free Consults with other coaches -- was specifically due to the intuitive and empathic focus they heard on our first call. One of those people that hired me was a leader in military intelligence. When we embrace and grow in who we are, rather than repress who we are, all things become possible.
Sometimes the gifts of who we are -- are held back by our own self, the voice in our head, or we don't quite know, yet, the value of our gifts and how to express them.
Follow what your unburdened heart tells you, it knows things.
